The chronology below is deliberately selective. It presents publicly documented stages of service and avoids unsupported dates or claims.

1992 onward

Early field service

Began service as a Sub Divisional Police Officer in Rajura, then a Naxal affected area. Subsequent field assignments included Osmanabad.

Mumbai region

Metropolitan policing

Served in Mumbai assignments including Special Operations, Zone 12 and the Special Branch, as well as headquarters responsibility in the Thane commissionerate.

District command

Raigad and Nashik Rural

Held Superintendent of Police responsibilities in Raigad and Nashik Rural, spanning district policing, investigations and public order.

State formations

Specialised leadership

Served as Commandant of State Reserve Police Force Group 11 and later in correctional administration at senior rank.

June 2017

Gadchiroli and Gondia Range

Took charge as Deputy Inspector General for the Naxal affected range, combining operational coordination with community and youth programmes through remote police posts.

City command

Solapur Police Commissioner

Led the Solapur Police Commissionerate, including public safety leadership during the pandemic period.

2022

Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner

Led the commissionerate for nine months. Publicly reported priorities included prevention of juvenile crime and the Project Disha community model.

December 2022

Nashik Police Commissioner

Transferred from Pimpri Chinchwad to lead Nashik City Police, with initiatives aimed at citizen access and responsive reporting.

Senior leadership

Special Inspector General

Served at Special Inspector General rank, including responsibility in State Intelligence and VIP Security, before retiring in 2025.
